so during band practice last night the cops showed up. have you guys dealt with this and can you offer any suggestions? Thanks

well in the garage with a drummer that plays way too loud. couldn't hear the guitar or bass so I guess the neighbors heard a drum rehearsal. the bass player suggested the drummer use rods or smaller sticks which he did not want to.

sounds like you guys need to rent a rehearsal studio. Never mind the cops, but if you can't hear nothing but drums during practice that's a waste of time. Get a room with proper acoustic treatment, it makes huge difference.
