Guys, hard times have fallen on the bloodrose clan and BR is gonna have to sell his babies. And since the law wont allow me to sell the kids, Im gonna have to part with 6 string babies.. Ive got he Schecter up. (going on the bay tomm A Charvel 4 going up tomm and a couple of the following:
Here is where I need help....
I have a Burny Les Paul. This is one of the BEST LPs Ive ever played. (about 11 lbs) It has a ZW emg set in it that Im not sure about tho. 80s model, plays awesome! Sounds great (tho I wonder if passives would make it better or worse) And sustains like one would expect from a LP. (Only one beats it!)
I have an Epi LP. Limited edition Transparent top. A Very Fine playing/feeling/sounding LP. Better than many gibsons Ive played.
I have an LTD EC400AT (goldtop) . Got used with one ding VERY cheap . This beasty weighs in at about 10LBS, plays great, sounds great ( tone pros, earvana nut, duncan JB/59) And this thing sustains for freaking EVER.... nearly endless, its amazing.
Then of course, I have a Gibson Studio. its the last year they made them without weight relief, It sustains 3rd best and has the worst fret work of this lot.. But, its a gibson. It plays and sounds good and all...
So dO I keep the name brand ? Cuz, its a Gibson... Do I move it as it is prob the most marketable and most likely to fetch a better price on the bay?
I need your input.. I Love them all for thier own things, but I need the cash BAD and besides a hack like me doesnt need all these guitars.

From what you've said, I'd make the pickup swap in the Burny and if it meets your expectations...that's the one I'd keep. Although ...that's one heavy heifer! I'm sorry to hear that you need to sell....and don't be surprised if it's hard to do right now. If the Burny don't pan out, keep the LTD. Hey, that might be the best thing anyway. You seem to like it a lot. I definately wouldn't keep the Studio just because it says Gibson on the headstock. You don't like it much. If you're only keeping one....make it count. Good luck!

Hard times suck.
I'd swap PU between the Burny and the LTD too and see what happens before moving 'em out. As is, I would keep the Burny if it means that much to you. (And how often do you come across a Burny in this country?)
Hard times suck!

how many guitars are you going to keep?? Just one??
Between these 4 I'd keep the LTD because it has some awesome features but not too much resale value. Burnies are hard to find and bring good money. Gibson have good resale value too.
So it'd be between the Epi and the LTD and I'd keep the LTD since the Epi would require investment to get it up to where the LTD is and you trying to make money, not spend it.

Thanks! Yes, thinking of paring down to one.. Id like to keep em all, but not feasible and besides, Im not worthy of such gear.
Yeah the LTD really is a slamming guitar.. Sustain out the yang. I figured you would say to keep the Gibson.. I was told once by someone on the duncan forum said I might could pull 1200 on the burny. but I doubt it.
I had 5 listed on ebay and nothing sold..
