Li'l Dawg Amps Custom Champster Special 5F1 combo. Jim built this custom chassis for me and it features dual switchable biasing, either cathode biased or fixed bias with internal bias trimpot. Single input, volume pot, off/standby/on Carling power switch, Weber Chicago Vintage CTC-10 10" ceramic speaker, NOS 6V6 and 5Y3 tubes, JJ 12AX7/ECC83S preamp tube, can accept 6L6 and GZ34 tubes!, full real tweed cloth covering (not lacquered), vintage oxblood speaker cloth and vintage Fender leather handle. This is a KILLER uber lightweight tube amp for recording or mic'd on stage, plenty of great Class A tone, loud and in yer face, surprisingly good headroom with single coil pups and yet will deliver that smooth classic tube amp overdrive when pushed hard, quiet running. $550 shipped in the ConUS

how does the tone of this amp differ from a peavey classic 30?? The C30 is class A/B and a 5F1 is class A - class A amps exhibit more sub-harmonic tone, more presence, more of everything good that you'd want in a tube amp. This one is now SOLD.
