I have a Fender American HSS and I want a new pickguard for it. What I have noticed is that there are 2 screw holes on either side of the humbucker on mine but when I search for a new HSS pickguard, they only have one screw hole on each side of the humbucker pup. Does this matter? Don't they make them with 2 screw holes on either side as a replacement part? I wanted a pearly type one to replace the standard white. Thanks

try some other places. You should be able to get either pattern. If I can find a co that makes them that way, Ill post the link.. I got a purple mirror PG once from a co that offered about everything. I cant recall the name off the top of my cranium..

your Fender humbucker has an extra hole in between the other 2 so it will fit a standard pickguard.
